About DronePort Amsterdam

Rai Amsterdam has traditionally been the location where people come together to be inspired and to meet each other. In total, more than 1 million visitors normally know where to find the RAI Amsterdam every year to visit an event.

Wherever we are, we create the right conditions for inspiring encounters, resulting in strong bonds. We create these conditions in both the physical and virtual world. During (inter) national trade fairs, conferences and during public events, such as theatre performances and dance events.

Many of these events take place in our exhibition and conference center in Amsterdam. Here we offer more than 110,000 m2 of lettable space, divided over twelve multifunctional halls and various large and small halls and lounges. We advise and facilitate organizers of events that take place here from A to Z in setting up their event successfully. The RAI’s own public and trade events also take place here, as well as in other cities outside Europe.

RAI has a very large network in the aviation, event and public sector. Based on this, they have insight into the developments within these target groups. In addition, RAI is engaged in the redevelopment of its own campus / location, looking at new initiatives that link up with improving the cohesion of its own environment. RAI Amsterdam is co-initiator of the Amsterdam Drone Week & EASA High Level Conference on Drones.

Amerging is the platform that helps initiate, explore, strengthen and implement public-private partnerships. Both through collaboration with various (international) living labs and online through a digital community platform.

We make it possible for private and public organizations to find each other more quickly, so that ecosystem-based innovations can be implemented faster and on a large scale than if parties were to do this on an individual basis.

We do this through strategy sessions that provide insight into the steps to be taken and by building partnerships with stakeholders that are essential for a successful realization. By building a digital twin on our cloud platform of newly developed services, business models or scenarios, we can better predict the social or commercial impact of innovations.

In addition, developed innovations can be tested within the various affiliated international living labs, so that the applicability in practice can be optimized.
